Defco (Delicious Food Company) is a renowned Danish company founded in Aarhus in 1982. From day one, unique cold cuts have been developed based on quality meat and excellent butchery craftsmanship. Over the years, Defco has become a well-respected and popular brand. Defco’s cold cuts include a wide range of both conventional and organic delicacies in slices, such as classic roast beef, Italian-inspired porchetta, and edge-seared chicken breast.

Behind every Defco product lies meticulous work in recipe development, refinement, and production according to the finest butchery traditions. Danish meat is used extensively, and great efforts are made to avoid unnecessary additives.

Try Defco roast beef, for example. It is traditionally made from beef topside, carefully prepared to retain its tenderness, beautiful pink colour, and intense peppery flavour.

Or perhaps you prefer Defco porchetta, a spicy and flavourful experience inspired by Italy. It is made from pork fillet and pork belly, which are trimmed, salted, and seasoned with rosemary, garlic, and lemon. The porchetta is then hand-rolled and tied, cooked, and finally roasted.

Over the years, it has been important to develop healthy alternatives in the Defco range, and about 50% of the Danish-produced cold cuts now carry the Keyhole label. The delicious Defco cold cuts are available in elegantly thin slices, perfect for appetisers, or in extra thick slices with a pronounced texture and bite, ideal for a sandwich.
